Killarney Fun Fact: A fun fact about Killarney is that it’s home to Ireland’s first national park, Killarney National Park, which was established in 1932. The park features stunning landscapes, including mountains, lakes, and forests, and is also famous for being one of the few places in Ireland where native red deer can still be found. The park’s beauty has attracted visitors for centuries, including Queen Victoria, who stayed nearby in 1861.
